About

From the start, Chew the Web was supposed to be some sort of tech site, although I never got around developing it. Then I stumbled into blogging and decided to give it a serious chance and I started doing some massive research about it.

It was then the idea come up, that I would write about blogging and the experiences that I learn about it and since Chew the Web was just sitting there, I decided to do use it. I also think that the name is rather descriptive, as well.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself; I am 36 years and started my first web page in 1998, on an IP-address hosted at a company in Holland. I had a good run with my sites, for a couple of years, before I decided to move on and try other things.

I worked as an independent computer consultant for a couple of years, before I started to feel the urge to work on the web again. That was a couple of years ago, and here I am, stepping into the exciting world of blogging, as my latest venture.

As I said before, I will share the steps and experiences that I learn on my way to become a full time blogger on Chew the Web.

A short note about comments, you’re welcome to leave your digital footprint in the comments field, but I reserve the right to edit and delete comments that I feel are spam, irrelevant or of topic.
